DJ MAG PRESENTS BASING SESSIONS
B.Traits, Dismantle, Drums of Death, Zombie Disco Squad on Thursday 2nd May
We're back! Following the knock out success of our Bedroom series we are moving “Sessions” to Basing House, London, for an issue launch on Thursday 2nd May.
Once again, entry is free, powered by Funktion One and there'll be a few extra inches to cater for the immense demand experienced at previous events featuring Heidi, Dusky, Space Dimension Controller, Waze & Odyssey, No Artificial Colours, Krystal Klear and Alexis Raphael.
To launch our May issue, our next coverstar, new darling of bass, B.Traits will bring the unique flavour established through her allegiance with Digital Soundboy and as a host on Radio 1.
Dismantle will join fellow Digital Soundboy comrade in the booth. The young Brighton-based DJ/producer has been making quite a name for himself in recent months, getting props from Annie Mac and signing to Shy FX's label last year.
Drums of Death is also on board. Still reeling from his epic 'Waves' series, he'll be showcasing his rare talent behind the desks with a DJ set tracing classic pumping house/techno into more raucous rave territory.
Fresh from mixing the Classic Music back-catalogue, Zombie Disco Squad will warm the room with a bumping house set following an obligatory opening set from DJ Mag Allstars.
If past events are anything to go by, it's likely to be another roadblock, so get there early (doors open at 7pm) to avoid disappointment. Plus they'll be a pile of free copies of DJ Magazine waiting for the first through the door. All sets will be streamed live on B@TV.
