Banjee Boy Realness welcome House of Shade

To Dalston Superstore on Friday 26th May

Following Banjee Boy Realness' last outing to East London's Dalston Superstore, where they hosted UK house hero Leo Zero, this time around the bi-monthly club welcomes House of Shade from the heart of Berlin’s club scene.

As mysterious as his name hints (but twice as nice), he’s been wowing residents Josh Cafe and Joe Robots for months via his Soundcloud, working it to the bone with a series of pure vinyl mixes stretching from prime ‘90s New York house anthems to hyper-flexible new way ballroom joints by the likes of BBR past guest Rushmore.

He was first call to warm-up when Hercules And Love Affair recently visited Berlin and his Soundcloud bio tells the rest: ‘2 black MK2's, pitch perfect. 1 Rodec MX 180, in derelict state. Sony MDR-7504 headphones, bought from Boris Dlugosch in 1997. House, Disco, Ballroom. Vinyl only. Willi Ninja keeps on dancing forever in my head. This is Berlin's House of Shade.’

Check his exlusive promo mix below.

Drop the Needle take over upstairs for a second time, fresh from welcoming the likes of Drums of Death and Simon Rigg to their recent parties, for another display of deep and delicious vinyl only party starters.
