VITAL LABEL: BOYS NOIZE RECORDS

This month's vital label

Boys Noize Records

Who's behind it?

Alex Ridha, aka Boys Noize, and Nadine Bleses.

Sounds like?

After launching in 2005, BNR first made its name championing the noisy electro sounds that were in vogue at the time — principally tracks that would fit into a Boys Noize DJ set. Since then, they've broadened their output to encompass most variants on 4/4 electronic music.

“It's quality electronic music to dance to,” the label tells DJ Mag. “House, techno, electro, beats, bass and  this awesome track from last night.”

Who's on it?

“Boys Noize, SCNTST, Djedjotronic, Strip Steve, Dog Blood, Le1f, Spank Rock, UZ, Peaches, Housemeister, Audionite, Destructo, D.I.M, Mixhell...”

Who's playing it?

“All types of scenes and DJs — from Justice to 2ManyDJs, Erol Alkan, A-Trak, Diplo, Jackmaster, Untold, Salva, Jimmy Edgar and Sven Väth.”

What's next?

Having just put out their 100th release with a couple of heavyweight remixes by Justice and the Chemical Brothers of tracks from label boss Boys Noize's last album 'Out of the Black', there will also be a new Boys Noize EP soon.

“We're also putting out a Dance Mania tribute compilation, SCNTST´s debut album, Housemeister's OP-1 album, the first Mixhell album, more singles, more BNR Trax releases, and more Dog Blood!”
