Pads, faders, dials and of course 49 keys are all part of the deal with the Akai's new Midi controller.
The versatile MPK49 packs a dozen MPC500 size pads on the board, with the same super smooth rotaries and quality long throw faders found on the MPD24.
Unique to the new MPK49 are a number of features designed to enhance live performance.
Special modes such as Arpeggiator, Note Repeat and Tap Tempo are all on offer, with the added bonus of internal quantising with the legendary MPC swing.
There's also dedicated transport buttons for operating sequencers and a crystal clear blue LCD screen for editing round off the impressive spec.
