KANGOL CELEBRATES 75 YEARS

It’s pretty cool to think that such a well-known brand has managed to appeal to the mainstream and the underground scenes at the same time, and has done so for the past 75 years.

Did you know that Kangol was actually born in England, founded by Jacques Spreiegen who took it to New York where it gathered its street credentials? 
Each season the heritage of the brand is celebrated with a release from previous collections.

This time around, the original Knitting Needle Logo and new woven tip — inspired by the original military tip — design takes centre stage.

Celebrities and designers have been enrolled to sprinkle their magic dust over their collaborations — Samuel L. Jackson (naturally), Marc by Marc Jacobs, Liberty, Pierre Cardin and Mary Quant. Happy birthday Kangol!
