DAFT PUNK RADIO 1 SPECIAL

Last chance to hear Rob Da Bank's Daft Punk Summer Special

In celebration of the legendary French dance duo Daft Punk's brilliance, Rob da Bank last week hosted a special Daft Punk Summer Special Show, which is available to stream for another five days.

Unable to get the actual band into the studio, a worthy replacement was found in the form of Daft Punk cover band IntroducingLive. The band recorded the now seminal 2001 album 'Discovery' in its entirety, including hits such as 'Harder Better Faster Stronger' and 'One More Time', expertly recreating the energetic vibrant nature of the French supergroup.

There is also plenty of interview material, new and old, illuminating their career and impact, featuring Daft Punk themselves, Pete Tong, Madeon and Annie Nightingale, who was the 1st to play them on Radio 1 way back in 1995.

Rob da Bank's Daft Punk Summer Special featuring IntroducingLive is available to stream from BBC Radio 1 here.
