ACADEMY OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC LAUNCHES

World's first socially-driven music school

We have teamed up with Armada Music, Point Blank Music School to kick off the Academy of Electronic Music on Google+.

It is the world’s first socially-driven online music school, giving aspiring music producers and DJs the chance to share their best tracks, get feedback from peers, industry experts and their favourite DJs and producers.

It also provides an opportunity to be mentored as the world’s next superstar producer and have your track signed to Armada Music - home of current No.1 DJ Armin Van Buuren and a host of other international dance music stars.

The Academy launches today, so you can begin to submit your tracks over at the Academy of Electronic Music website. From these entries a final 50 artists will be selected.

Then on October 19th, during the Top 100 DJs Party at the Amsterdam Music Festival this list will be whittled down to a final 7 DJs and producers, who will join the Academy's Class of 2013 and have their tracks released on Armada.

On October 21st, The Academy of Electronic Music begins. The selected seven artists will learn everything there is to know about EDM. Exclusive lessons will be conducted via Google+ Hangouts by Point Blank’s expert tutors and producers, industry guests and surprise EDM artists.

The Hangouts will be broadcast live and recordings will be available immediately afterwards, so even if you don't make it onto the academy, you can still benefit from the insights via the video streams.

You can watch the intro video below and start submitting your tracks HERE!
