Cutline remix of new RAM single 'Afterglow'
It's no secret that RAM Records have been on the Radio 1 takeover hype, with Chase & Status and Sub Focus becoming names that even your mum might recognise.
RAM’s 2010 signing, Wilkinson hasn’t shied away from taking on the mainstream either this year. His upcoming debut album ‘Lasers Not Included’ - touching down Saturday 21st October – has seen a stream of releases forth forth over the airwaves with the jazzy tech fusion of ‘Need To Know’ and drum filled grime attack of ‘Heartbeat’ featuring P Money and Arlissa.
The next selection to be plucked from ‘Lasers Not Included’ is the soulful, post-rave roller ‘Afterglow’ fronted by Becky Hill, offering up the soundtrack to the first train home and the after party soldiers.
The original may be a big bass breaker for the comedown kings, but Bristol duo Cutline have dropped a smiley and remixed and reworked ‘Afterglow’ into a trance-infused electro house stomper.
These boys know how to mix things up with live sets and production that span filthy drum and bass, the darkest dubstep and now this track that you can check out exclusively here now. It’s a cert that this one will keep you awake.
