VIDEO: KOLSCH 'GOLDFISCH'

Premiere of new video from massive '1977' album

Kölsch’s recent ‘1977’ album continued Kompakt’s masterful touch for releasing epically, emotional house and techno, the likes of piano dazzler ‘Der Alte’ and analogue techno heart warmer ‘Opa’ winning the affections of everyone from Solomun and Laurent Garnier to Eats Everything and Pete Tong.

In fact, if you want an indication of Kölsch’s ever popular touch then consider that he’s shifted over a million records (helped no doubt by 2007's massive ‘Calabria’, which he wrote under the moniker Rune RK) and Lady Gaga once warmed-up for him - all this while never straying far from his love of underground house and techno.

We have the exclusive video premier to ‘Goldfisch’, the sunny anthem that’s been destroying festivals and clubs all summer, and there’s a cheeky heart hands from Kölsch at the end in recognition of its loved up vibe.

Catch Kölsch playing at the 20 Years Kompakt Party at Fire, London, on Friday 25th October alongside Kompakt boss Michael Mayer, Robag Wruhme, Pachanga Boys, Sascha Funke, Blond:ish, Terranova, Walls and Saschienne. Get your tickets here now.
