Few probably expected New Order's latest album — 'Music Complete', the band's first without Peter Hook on bass, and welcoming back Gillian Gilbert on keyboards — to be quite as good as it is. So hurl Weatherall into the mix, and things are patently going to get heavy. Built for those euphoric Love From Outer Space dancefloors, its girthsome business, liberal with the arpeggios, the space-age bleeps, spine-tingling strings, classic New Order guitars and Barney's unmistakable vocals. The xxxy remixes are a bit special too. Bravura business from all concerned.
