TOM TRAGO LIVE LONDON DEBUT

Village Underground presents Trouw

When it comes to Dutch national symbols, Tom Trago is up there with bicycles, Edam and skunky biftas — among house heads, at least.

At the helm of Voyage Direct, a regular on labels like Rush Hour and resident of Amsterdam's excellent Trouw club, Trago's deep disco and house sets are the stuff of local legend in a city where we expect a big-room “EDM” tune (Avicii 'Levels'?) to be the national anthem by 2018 (imagine that!).

On the other, more underground end of the scale, though, Tom serves to push refined, sometimes obscure but always dance-y 4/4 sounds onto the switched on ravers that crawl the underbelly of the city's clubscene via Trouw.

He's also got three albums — including 2013's 'The Light Fantastic (Rush Hour) — under his belt and he's set to unveil his new live show to London for the first time at Village Underground on 30th November as part of a Trouw takeover featuring fellow residents San Proper and Job Jobse, plus Trouw founder Olaf Boswijk.

The event runs 10pm – 6am and tickets (priced £12) can be bought here.
