DIMENSIONS FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED

Caribou, Darkside, Roy Ayers and Jon Hopkins top great underground bill

Dimensions Festival returns to Fort Punta Christo in Pula, Croatia this summer for its third season — and it has just announced a top underground line-up.

Electronic producer Caribou, Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington's Darkside project, Mercury-nominated Jon Hopkins and legendary funk soul brother Roy Ayers are just a few of the principal acts who'll be playing at the event.

Detroit-based cats Moodymann and Theo Parrish will also be present and correct, while Detroit techno legend Juan Atkins and pal Moritz von Oswald present their new Borderland project. Also from Detroit, in another coup for the festival, the Underground Resistance live band Timeline will be playing, including 'Mad' Mike Banks on keys and strings.

Other acts just confirmed include jazzual hero Gilles Peterson, Morgan Geist (Storm Queen)'s Metro Area (live), Nina Kraviz, Floating Points, Mala (live), Kode 9, Karizma, Goldie, Ben UFO, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Blawan, Pearson Sound, dBridge, Aux 88 (live), Alix Perez, Roman Flügel and many many more.

Dimensions is taking place over five days this summer, between 27th - 31st August. The festival has a campsite, and there are also many hotels, apartments and rooms for private hire nearby.

Croatia has become one of the go-to destinations for dance music events in Europe, hosting a number of festivals every summer such as Outlook, the Garden Festival and Electric Elephant. With its discerning bill and picturesque setting, Dimensions is definitely worth considering for a summer excursion. Tickets cost £140, available here
