Renaissance Goes Wild
On Saturday 30th June, Renaissance are taking over the delightful setting of Knebworth House, Hertfordshire to bring us <B>Wild In the Country</B> – an excellent all day festival featuring some of the hottest DJs out there.
Another boutique festival, I hear you say? But just look at the line-up! Sasha & John Digweed headline, with the elite, cutting edge likes of Ricardo Villalobos, 2 Many DJs, Francois K and Tiefschwarz also on the wheels of steel. The event will all be crowned by a live show from Hot Chip, the band du jour who'll surely treat us to some of their wonky off-beat funk and twisted punk disco strangeness.
Matthew Jonson will also be plying his dope underground house in a live stylee. They'll also be joined by the scorching nu-rave, cut n' paste acid kids Simian Mobile Disco and Justice, and the electro fiend himself, Erol Alkan.
The festival celebrates the 15th anniversary of Renaissance, and in the grand tradition of holding events in opulent surroundings, Wild In the Country at Knebworth House will be one of the most spectacular yet.
