WHAT YOU WEARING: JAKWOB

We ask the bass heavy Jakwob what he is wearing...

What are you wearing right now?
"I’ve just got into the studio and am wearing a Penfield orange puffer coat that I got from Liberty, an Our Legacy yellow wool jumper also from Liberty, grey jeans from Cheap Monday, a charcoal tee from Folk, black Converse high-tops and a red beanie."

How would you describe your style?
"I dress casually, comfortably and appropriately. I don't have any real inspirations; I just stick to seasonal colours and practical clothes."

Describe an outfit you remember from as far back into your childhood as possible...
"A red onesie and a puffer coat thing."

Who is your favourite designer/label?
"When Carven do prints they’re incredible. I love Folk and the simplicity and tiny details in their designs."

What is your favourite boutique/store?
"YMC, Liberty and Folk — they’re all very close to home and always on-point."

What is your most treasured item of clothing or jewellery, and why is it so precious to you?
"I have a folk shirt that features two tiny Native American men on the side under the arms. When I was a child I used to think I was an American Indian rather than actually being from India."

What future projects do you have lined up?
"My first single for Digital Soundboy ‘Somebody New’ will be released on the 30th March and will be followed by another shortly after. I'm really looking forward to getting back out to the States. The last time was recording in Fleetwood Mac's studio, which will be difficult to top."
