THE RETURN OF S-MAN

Roger Sanchez marks 20 years of underground moniker with bomb

Twenty years since he dropped 'Time 2 Stop', Roger Sanchez is resurrecting his S-Man moniker with 'Dangerous Thoughts' on UNDR THE RADR (out 28th April).

Originally conceived for the darker, more underground clubs he'd play at during the '90s, the return of his S-Man persona comes at a time when underground sounds continue to seep into the mainstream. House is making the UK charts and fans of EDM are turning to deeper forms in The States. Sanchez's reversion to the original sounds he initially pioneered might just be a symptom of the next evolutionary stage of dance music in the US.

The tune itself is nothing short of a bomb; the a bottom-heavy house track you'd expect to find on Dirtybird or Pets, however it drops onto a new label, set up by him especially for the track. Before the release, though, the Stealth boss will play an S-Man set at SET, Miami, alongside Kenny Dope, Thugfucker, Maxxi Soundsystem and Jesse Rose on Sunday 30th March. Get tickets.
