MARK KNIGHT BREAKS DOWN NEW TRACK

Get the lowdown on 'The Return Of Wolfy'

Toolroom Records leader, Mark Knight, has released his first single of 2014, 'The Return Of Wolfy.' The whirlwind track, equal parts driving and atmospheric, come with a music video featuring Blake Harrison (Neil from The Inbetweeners) in a completely new, dark and vengeful role.

Watch the video below and get some insight from the man himself, Mark Knight after the jump.

What does the 'Return Of Wolfy' mean?
'The Return Of Wolfy' is an idea I had for a trilogy of videos starring a character who's coming back against all the odds. The idea was inspired  by a recent film I saw.

Can you describe the sound of the tune in a sentence?
An anthemic, piano-led classic house track.

When you watch the video it feel like the soundtrack to a thriller film, was that your intent?
That wasn't specifically my intention, but I do think the video and the track compliment each other. I like to make music that is filled with movement and drama; ultimately I make music for the dancefloor.

If you were to score a film who would be the ultimate director to work with?
I would have to say Martin Scorsese, purely because he's responsible for some of the greatest films of all time, starring some of the best actors of our generation, like Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio. To be part of something so memorable and with such credibility would be perfect! Quite a big fan of his latest movie too.
