Amazing parties planned for festival

Top U.S. house label Om Records will be hosting two mammoth parties at electronic music festival Sonar</a>, in Barcelona, Spain on Friday 15th June and Saturday 16th June.

With a bigger presence than any other American label at the renowned event, Om are taking over two of the finest clubs in the city to bring clubbers some of the hippest, hottest and freshest talent from the entire spectrum of house.

Friday's event takes place in the idyllic environs of Mondo, where revellers will be able to shake their posteriors while taking in tremendous views of the Spanish coastline. The label have secured a brilliantly varied bill of DJs for this instalment, with the original Omster Mark Farinapresiding, and guests including bigwig DJ Fluid a.k.a. Afromystik, the San Francisco groover who'll be bringing his exquisite funk infused rhythms to the table, and Spanish innovator Al Velilla, the broken beat and house king behind Pacha Recordings. Also appearing live will be exciting new Om signing Chuck Love, keeping heads happy with his twist on the deep and funky sound.

Saturday's line-up takes things a little deeper, darker and bleepier at Barcelona's awesome La Terraza. The newly launched Om Europe's first signing, Mike Monday, will be bringing his tough electronic fuelled vibes to the party alongside the sensational Chicago/Detroit infused skills of Jesse Rose and the next-level beats of Swedish crew, Style of Eye.

Friday's event at Mondo runs from 10pm to 5am and will be free, while Saturday's event at La Terraza will charge 18 Euros door tax. Find out more by checking the Om website. See you there!
