CHEMICAL BROTHERS HEADLINE SPACE OPENING

Ibiza season gets underway with a bang!

The Ibiza season is about to get underway, traditionally signalled by the opening of Space — the club in the Playa D'en Bossa region to the south of the island. And as usual, Space Opening Fiesta has a whopping great line-up, as befitting the place where many of the island's dance music movers and shakers assemble for the first time in the summer.

The Chemical Brothers have been enticed out for a rare DJ show to headline the Space Opening. Tom and Ed Chemical limit their DJ appearances to just a handful of shows a year these days, so the chance to catch them in the main room at Space at 1am will be relished by many.

Deep Dish have also been booked, one of the biggest duos in dance who have only recently come back together again after nearly a decade apart.

DJ Mag is hosting the Terrace, a week in advance of our party at Space on Sunday 1st June. Deep Dish man Sharam, tech wizard James Zabiela, French techno maestro Agoria, and garage-tech dude South London Ordnance are just some of the names we have lined up to rock the Terrace.

Other acts on the bill include Basement Jaxx, Nina Kraviz, Edu Imbernon, Jon Rundell and Jonathan Ulysses.

Preceded by the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza, Space Opening is sure to be rammed to the gills. Space was again voted the No.1 club in the world by DJ Mag readers in the latest Top 100 Clubs poll.
