LA TASCA FIESTA NIGHTS COMPETITION NOW OPEN

Submit your latin-inspired house mixes here

La Tasca’s Fiesta Nights DJ Competition - in partnership with DJ Mag - is now open for entries! The competition aims to discover the latest UK DJ talent.

Over the course of the next 5 weeks, we will be showcasing the very best of latin-inspired house music artists and DJs on DJMAG.COM and the DJ Mag SoundCloud page.

Not only will the finalists be exposed to a huge DJ Mag digital audience, and have their mixes heard by a whole host of fresh fans in waiting, but they will also have the chance to compete at UK heats in London and Nottingham before heading to the Grand Final in Manchester.

The DJ who wins over the crowd in Manchester will be interviewed by DJMAG.COM and become the official Fiesta Nights Tour DJ for 12 months!

The competition is fronted by house DJ Steve Daconga - who definitely knows how to infuse latin flavours into his mixes, whether he is rocking Ministry of Sound, fabric or his iconic ’90s club night The Laundry in London.

“Its great to be involved in the La Tasca competition and good to see that someone out there is supporting Latin influenced music”, Steve tells DJ Mag, “I’m looking forward to hearing some seriously percussive beats and having a couple of cervezas!”

Fancy your chances? Simply submit a 20 minute mix that is inspired by Latin music at the Fiesta Night Website and you could find your mix showcased on this site!

Don’t forget to share your mix with us on twitter @fiestanightsdj using the #FNDJ hashtag!
