ISLE OF DREAMS MOVES TO BASEL

Swiss festival moves to a new location in Basel...

Isle Of Dreams festival has moved from its former home in Gunzgen, Switzerland to a new open air venue in Basel, situated at the crossroads to borders of France, Switzerland and Germany. Organisers say that Basel — Switzerland's third most populated city — is the perfect location to make the festival more accessible to more electronic music fans.

The festival was moved to the new location due to fans requesting easier access and beter local infrastructure. The St. Jakob open air venue now provides more suitiable infrastructure for a festival this big. Improvements include an additional camping area in close proximity and various halls that will accommodate 2000-9000 festival-goers. Being situated at only a 30-minute distance from the airport and train station, the venue can be easily reached by festival visitors.
