RONI SIZE BACK WITH NEW ALBUM

Bristolian junglist also announces the return of Reprazent

Roni Size, the Bristol-born drum & bass DJ/producer who won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997, is back with a new album — 'Take Kontrol'. The title track features his old sparring partner Dynamite MC on vox. The solo album will be released on 25th August, and will be preceded by a New EP — 'Size Matters' — on 18th August.

His first new material for a while, Roni calls both the album and the EP “dancefloor cuts for the heads”. Both will appear on Roni's new label, Mansion Sounds. An indication that the new material is a return to form can be glimpsed by listening to previews of the EP here

Roni has also announced that his live project, Reprazent, will also return next year. He's giving away a free track, the anthemic, wibbly 'Bite The Bullet (2014 Remix)', to fans who sign up to his new website mailing list here
