EXCLUSIVE FREE DOWNLOAD FROM SOUL INTENT

A cheeky little roller from the Nottingham-based drum & bass producer

Nottingham's finest, Soul Intent, returns this month with the long-awaited 'Cowboy Town EP', forthcoming on his own Lossless Music.

'Cowboy Town' has been doing the rounds on the drum & bass circuit for a while now, garnering support from the likes of Doc Scott, Loxy and Marcus Intalex. Check out the latest issue of DJ Mag to see what our very own Whisky Kicks makes of it.

Backing up the title track, we find Soul Intent going hard with 'Raggamuffin', plus — pushing a garage vibe — remixing 'Cowboy Town' under his 140bpm Odyssia alias.

In celebration of his label's third release, Soul Intent is offering DJ Mag readers an exclusive free download! Masquerading, at first, as an airy sunset anthem, 'Summer Daze' soon plunges into sinister subs, grubby enough for any underground set.

'Cowboy Town' is out July 28th on vinyl and August 11th via digital download.

Having been DJing since his teens, Soul Intent, aka Alex Judd, set about making his mark on the drum & bass game in the mid-noughties. After gaining radio plays from such influential figures as Mary Anne Hobbs, DJ Flight and Grooverider, Judd's name began to pop up all over the scene, releasing across a number of top underground labels as well as running his own Lossless Music.
