Ultra Europe will go ahead in Croatia as planned

Despite legal issues, the much-loved EDM festival will go ahead this year...

Ultra Europe will go ahead this summer in Croatia, despite a documented legal battle between the brand’s parent company and its Croatia promoter.

Ultra's parent company, Worldwide Entertainment Group, and local promoter Adria MM Productions have been involved in legal battles since 2013, with Adria MM Productions stating they endured years of financial losses in order to sustain working relationships with hotels, ticketing agencies, smaller promoters and artists.

Set to celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2017, running 14th to 16th July in Split, Ultra Europe also reportedly met with Croatia’s Ministry of Tourism earlier this year, looking for up to one million euros to help make this year’s festival possible.

Despite rumours of cancellation due to lack of funds and various local promoter bust-ups, Ultra Music Festival has released an official statement regarding the Croatian branch of the event, assuring party-goers that the festival will still take place this year.
