SIX ARTISTS YOU NEED TO SEE AT GLOBALGATHERING 2014

Our must-see acts for this weekend’s festival

THE PRODIGY
Whether you have seen them a hundred times, or this is your first, The Prodigy’s 2014 UK dance festival exclusive is simply unmissable. One of the most exciting live bands of all time, The Prodigy’s intense show will go down as one of the defining festival performances of the year. Mark our words!

PAUL WOOLFORD
What a year Paul Woolford has had! One minute he is topping the pop charts (with the vocal mix of ‘Untitled’) then the next he is reinventing himself as a breakbeat-spitting badman (with his Special Request project). One of the UK scene’s most important and versatile characters, Woolford plays the BBC Radio One Essential.

ANDY C
May’s DJ Mag cover star, Andy C is a must-see act on any festival line up. As drum & bass’s biggest artists, the Ram Records boss never disappoints. The fact that he now occupies the festival’s main stage, alongside The Prodigy and Knife Party demonstrates how far he - and the genre he has spearheaded for two decades - have come. Get down the front and make yourself heard. This one will go off!

THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS
If you like your beats jacking, then The Martinez Brothers should be first on your GlobalGathering agenda. The New York brotherly duo have been bubbling under for years, but have gone stratospheric in the last twelve months as their bumping house sound has risen in popularity. They join Jamie Jones in his Paradise arena on Saturday. Boom!

THE SECRET DJ MAG VIP SETS!
We are taking over the VIP arena at this year’s event, and we have bought in some of our superstar DJ pals to play unannounced sets after dark, in the super intimate space. We have some acts from the biggest stages on the bill lined up so be sure to follow @DJmag and @GlobalGathering on Twitter as we will be announcing the artists just before they go on!

If you haven’t already, be sure to bag your tickets here.
