The enigmatic producer Bear Grillz, known only by his cartoon alias, brings his electro-rock with a twist to Firepower Records on August 5, featuring two of the most powerful names in American dubstep: Datsik and 12th Planet.
“Bear Grillz & Friends Volume 1” is loud without being noise, a welcome change amidst the many straight anvil dropping bangers of EDM. With a burly bass that drives as much as it recoils into exacerbated keyboard arrangements and computer loops, this EP will ignite fires on the dancefloor.
