DRUMCODE ISLAND - SEPT 13TH

Adam Bayer and crew rechristen NYC's Governors Island for a day & night of techno

On September 13th, Governor's Island will be overrun with technophiles fixed on ending the summer with a bang. Lead by Drumcode's Adam Beyer and labelmates Harvey McKay, Sam Paganini and Bart Skils, the familiar ominous black DC flag will be raised and the island will officially be renamed Drumcode Island for the night.

This much anticipated party is the culmination of a year's worth of planning following last September's unfortunate events that lead to the cancellation of the Drumcode tent at EZOO 2013. Stating "The best thing for us to do is bring a full Drumcode show back to New York as soon as possible," Adam Beyer promised to deliver a full Drumcode show unlike any New York has ever experienced and on September 13th his promise will be fulfilled.

Drumcode Island is undoubtedly the top pick of many techno fans for party of the year. For the unindoctrinated, prepare to be overwhelmed by how beautiful the New York skyline looks at the Golden-hour, especially when soundtracked by the unique Drumcode sound that has helped defined techno for nearly 20 years. Drumcode Island serves as the perfect nightcap to the New York City summer, so get in one last dance before the summertime sadness sets in.
