EDM has been attacked lately by many music critics who assure us that, sooner or later, this genre will implode upon itself. Some of them believe this kind of electronic music is condemned to failure for endless reproduction. Of course, there are better songs than others, but that is just a matter of perception and taste, which could be applicable to any other music genre.

We are lucky we do not have to fight those meaningless and uncoloured opinions with thousands of words. Once in a while, absolutely stunning and radiant sounds knock on our doors to remind us that as long as feelings exist, EDM will survive. It is an indescribable feeling when you hear that special sound for the first time and it rumbles in your head, heart and soul.

On this occasion, Trevor Ghutrie and R3hab have literarily created a ‘soundwave’ that speaks for itself. The super talented Canadian singer known for his collaboration with Armin Van Buuren in “This Is What It Feels Like”, and the Dutch DJ master of several such as “Samurai” or “Revolution”, have blended well together to deliver simple and pure feelings translated into music. And their lyrics are a direct response to those EDM haters...

“Turn it up now, sending only good vibrations. A whole wall of sound crushing down all around. What a beautiful life”

Surrender to this amazing EDM anthem...
