Zedd takes home Best Dance VMA for ‘Stay’

And yet another skill is revealed to the world...

Zedd was honoured Sunday evening (27th August) with the MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for ‘Stay’, his collaborative effort with R&B-songstress Alessia Cara.

The German-bred producer bested massive EDM earners Calvin Harris, Kygo, Major Lazer & Afrojack to take home the Moonman.

This weekend, Zedd’s drumming abilities were also thrust into the spotlight. In a new interview with Billboard, Zedd revealed that between the ages of 12 and 20 he was a drummer for his brother Arkadi’s metalcore band DIORAMIC. During the band’s former peak, the brothers took off school to tour through Germany.

Fans already knew that Zedd had a hidden poker talent and a keen political fervor
