WIN TIX TO FABRIC'S 15TH BIRTHDAY

London underground clubbing institution reaches important birthday milestone

For a decade and a half, Farringdon's Fabric nightclub has been at the heart of London dance culture, recruiting internationally acclaimed acts, yet retaining a resolutely underground feel (not just due to its subterranean location).

Above (pictured) is how Fabric used to look — before the club had finished being built, in the late 1990s. Over the years Fabric has seen a whopping 4099 artists play to crowds drawn from all over the globe, and has recently calculated that the total run-time of sets played there clocks in at over two and half years!

To celebrate this landmark achievement, the club has announced a weekend of events, showcasing Fabric champions of the past 15 years. And you could be there to help them celebrate, with a bunch of mates, by entering the competition below.

Friday 17th October finds stalwarts of the legendary FabricLive nights takeover once again. The likes of Goldie, Loefah, Doc Scott and Fracture will all take to the wheels of steel, whilst Four Tet offers up a full four-hour set, and Tectonic boss Pinch shows off his live skills.

Then from 11pm on Saturday 18th to 5am on Monday 20th, an epic night and day event brings a host of heavyweights to the booths. Resident DJ and musical director Craig Richards will be joined by Terry Francis, Ricardo Villalobos, Âme, Ben Klock, Dixon, Marcel Dettmann, Seth Troxler, Ben UFO and more. Wristbands will be provided for re-entry purposes.

You don't have to choose which of these nights to go to with your pals if you win the competition — you'll have tickets to the whole birthday weekend. You'll also get to choose 15 Fabric CDs of your choice from their phenomenal selection of about 150 top comps.

To be in with a chance of winning this great prize, simply answer the below question:

Q. Which DJ mixed the first FabricLive CD (FabricLive.01)?

Send an email with your answer and contact details to [email protected] before the end of next week (October 10th). Good luck!
