Watch the DJ Mag Tech Awards Live Streams Next Tuesday

Voting for our annual Tech Awards is now open. In addition to the public vote, six categories will be decided via a live streamed event, taking place from our London headquarters on Tuesday 19th September.

The live categories include 'Innovative New Product', 'Ultimate Club Deck', 'Ultimate Club Mixer', 'Ultimate DJ Controller', 'DJ Controller Under £600' and 'DJ Mixer Under £600'.

Our panel of expert industry judges will be presiding over our 2017 DJ Mag Tech Awards are below.

Sébastien Léger

French House DJ and producer Sébastien Léger has been enjoying a long and rewarding music career and has seen the advancement of technology throughout the dance music scene, equally comfortable with the use of technology in the studio or behind the decks.

“I'm a real technology nerd and love it when it comes to gear and musical stuff to play or experiment with. I had my first pair of CDJ's (500mkII) back in 1995. The DJ Mag Tech Awards is here to give future DJs/producers and customers an overview of what gear is available to them. It's also a way to celebrate music and technology together with everything moving forward in the right direction and also giving useful information as to what options are available for your particular needs.

 
Huxley

When not camped up in the studio creating killer dance floor smashes Huxley can be found gracing the decks in some of the words biggest clubs. His technical knowledge and know how has helped him establish himself as one of the UK’s leading lights when it comes to the new generation of dance music producers.

“The DJ Mag tech awards help people get an insight into what really works for producers/DJs rather than rely on marketing. It’s also nice to see manufacturers get the props they deserve when a lot of us make our livings using their products.”

Kaiserdisco

German production duo Kaiserdisco are no strangers to the world of music production technology dropping tracks on labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, 100% Pure, Kling Klong, Terminal M and My Best Friend, combined with performances at the world's largest and most popular club scenes and festivals, the guys have built up well-deserved following in the industry.

“DJ Mag's Tech Awards have always been an event which many aspiring and established producers look to, for the latest news and info on products and technology for the industry. For us, being part of it this is going to be really fascinating, not only because we have always been tech heads, but we get to evaluate a selection of the latest equipment with like-minded artists and industry people. Maybe after seeing what’s on offer, we’ll have to think about changing our set up! We’ll see!” 

Mick Wilson

 DJ Mag Tech Editor Mick Wilson has been commenting on the technological developments within the electronic dance music scene for quite a few years now. A DJ and Producer himself he has been at the forefront of the technological revolution within the dance music scene.

Pola & Bryson

Pola and Bryson are the new face of Drum and Bass, with releases on Hospital, Liquicity and currently signed to Shogun Audio these two young producers are carving out a solid reputation already capturing the eye of London Elektricity, whilst becoming masters of their craft at a very young age, they have an assured background when it comes to music technology and this can be heard in their productions.
