Skrillex production available months before official release

We hope you like football games

A new Skrillex production has been made available months before its official release date. Albeit in a rather unsual way.

According to an article on Rolling Stone, the artist joined forces with New Zealand R&B songstress Kimbra to make 'Top of the World', which features on the soundtrack to FIFA 2018, the latest version of EA's ever-popular football sim. The tune will be included on Kimbra's forthcoming long-player, 'Primal Heart', which lands early 2018, so for now you'll have to make do with the video game edit, or check out the embed below, which gives an idea as to what the tune sounds like.

This comes soon after we reported on Skrillex unveiling another new collaboration with Sirah, entitled 'Deadbeat', the third the pair have worked on together after 'Bangarang' and 'Kyoto'. Meanwhile, rumours abound about another tag-team effort, this time with Joyryde. All of which makes you wonder how he had time to hit that Irish pub in Chicago for an impromptu DJ set with UK pop supremo Ed Sheeran, but perhaps it's best not to ask.
