'Leap' from Berlin-based producer Afriqua scatters a treated vocal sample, bongos and grand piano keys into an eight minute groove odyssey that's warm, supple and heady all at the same time.

Crossing elements of funk, Afrobeat, house and techno, Afriqua is only 22 years old. He's studied classical piano at Interlochen Arts Academy and London's Royal Academy of Music, the harmonic piano segments in his tracks are not just samples but handplayed craftily over electronic beats.
