Native Instruments release free phaser plugin Phasis

Native Instruments have released a free plugin as part of their Happy Holidays series of gifts and offers.

Phasis is a phaser effect plugin with traditional controls like rate, spread and mix but also features more unique ‘Notches’ and ‘Spread’ controls to create more vocal-style vowel effects as well as more out-there ring modulation sounds.

Judging by the demos on the site, it’s a very versatile effect plug – grab it now before it disappears. Behringer’s rumoured new synths would sound pretty good through it, given the retro nature of the effect, though it’s probably more at home inside the new NI Maschine update.
