Right up on the Andean mountain range, a cold but vibrant city of almost 8 million people, blissfully welcomed two versatile Swedish geniuses capable of creating several musical identities throughout their professional careers. Bogota was able to witness the ‘dawn of a new beginning’ brought by this long-awaited and promising spectacle named Axwell Λ Ingrosso.

Composed by sparks of the individual career paths of both Axwell and Ingrosso and beautiful glimpses of the already dissolved Swedish House Mafia, this Electronic proposal can hardly be described as a project. This is a new era in Electronic music. These two Swedes, capable of dazzling the entire World as members of a trio and as soloists, seem to be unstoppable and, yet again, are on their way to the Olympus of DJs.

After their debut as a duo at the June 8th Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, the Nordic artists began a world tour to spread the word, the sound and the vibe of a new race of electronic music. The cities of Bogota and Medellin were luckily and wisely chosen for the tour.

Marroquin Castle, right on the outskirts of the Colombian capital, was the location chosen for an epic night and a very special set that highlighted ‘We Come, We Rave, We Love’, ‘Something New’ and ‘Can’t Hold Us Down’, the original songs Axwell Λ Ingrosso have produced so far. Along with iconic hits like ‘One, Calling and Reload’, the Scandinavian dynamic duo gave this city everything they had and raised people’s feet off the ground.

The most remarkable and brilliant moment of the night emerged when Axwell took the time to connect with the audience by telling them that they needed energy, so they decided to come to Colombia to get it.

Perhaps the most important message left by Axwell Λ Ingrosso is not about music but about humility. Two super talented and famous DJs who always give the best of them no matter where they are or who they are with. A simple lesson conducted through their music still leaving a mark in every step they take.

Listen to the incredible Axwell Λ Ingrosso sounds on offer on their SoundCloud page.
