PREMIERE: RUSS YALLOP 'DARKSIDE' EP

The house aficionado returns with some dynamite

Russ Yallop has steadily ascended himself as one of the frontrunners in the next generation of house music. With releases on legendary imprints like Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations and No. 19, he is well on his way. The London-based producer returns with his latest on Steve Lawler's ViVA music, a killer six tracker 'Darkside' EP that is absolutely bonkers from start to finish.

Already being supported by the likes of Sasha, X Press 2, Hot Since 82, Nicole Moudaber and more, it's a marriage of obscure acid lines and inventive chords fueled with ambitious, thumping bass-led rhythms showing why Yallop's canniness goes beyond just repetitive sounds. This is dance floor dynamite in its purest form designed to cause an explosion comparable to that of Hiroshima. Supporting remixes from Eskuche & Nu - Sky and SEFF and featured collaborators Peter Parker and Pete Smith add to the deep and twisted raucous. It goes without saying that Yallop's Midas touch can even turn tired tropes into gold.

'Darkside' will be released officially on Monday December 15th. We have the exclusive stream below:
