Roland are releasing official 808 and 909 plugins

The official software versions are part of Roland’s subscription Cloud service...  

Roland are releasing official plugin versions of the TR-808 and TR-909. The software versions are the first official plugins focusing on the 808 and 909, despite the countless third-party offerings out there.

The plugins are offered through Roland’s own Cloud service – a subscription-based download platform where legendary Roland synths like the Jupiter-8, D-50, Juno-106 and System-100. There’s also a series of software-only plugins as well as a TERA range for acoustic instruments.

Roland Cloud costs $19.95 per month, which gives you access to all their plugs, which now include the classic 808 and 909 drum machines. If you couldn’t dream of using software versions of the these classic beasts, both the AIRA TR-8 and the new Boutique range versions offer their unmistakable sound in hardware.
