FABRICLIVE 80: MUMDANCE

Mumdance steps up to deliver a blazing mix for FABRICLIVE

Mumdance will step up to deliver a blazing state-of-the-art mix for Fabriclive, set for release in early March.

The 80th addition of the 'Fabriclive' mixes will include tracks from bass-heavy Bristolian Pinch as well as various unreleased records from Shapednoise, Ninety-Nine, Untold, Helm and Strict Face.

After bursting into the limelight in 2008, Mumdance’s notoriety continues to cultivate new audiences from all over the world. With two world tours and numerous substantial productions under his belt, he decided to go on a two-year hiatus after finding himself increasingly embittered with the scene. He returned in 2013 with an advanced sound and a more comforting style, obtaining releases through labels such as Rinse, Tectonic and Keysound Recordings.

The majority of the mix which follows Jimmy Edgar's in the world-renowned series is exclusive to the CD, Mumdance explains: “I wanted my 'Fabriclive' mix to represent what I would play in Fabric and also what you might hear on my Rinse FM show, essentially collecting as many of my favourite producers into one place and presenting it in a coherent manner. I wanted to reflect my past and present, as well as peering into the future.”

Mumdance will launch 'Fabriclive 80' at Fabric on Friday 10th April alongside Pinch, Novelist & Riko Dan. You can find more info of the event here!
