Sancho Panza Crank Up Carnival Pressure!

Wicked line-up of DJs set to play at Sancho Panza's carnival after party

The time for carnival has almost rolled around again, and in time-honoured tradition, Sancho Panza are bringing out some of the hippest DJ heavyweights and funk brigadiers to get jiggy for this year's Bank Holiday bruk out. But this time the party doesn't end there, as on Sunday 26th August they'll be commandeering the Shepherd's Bush Empire for the after party to end them all, with an awesome line-up to keep the revelry in full swing.

In the main room, sets from the irrepressible Ralph Lawson of 2020 Vision infamy, eclectic groove overlords The Unabombers, and their live incarnation The Elektrons will keep the funk pressure high. Fresh house sounds will also be supplied by Matt Brown, Jimmy K Tel and Will De Luxe from Barcelona. Meanwhile, in the little disco room, Chicken Lips will be doing their none-more-funky cosmic disco, electro funk, and idiosyncratic house thing, alongside Freddy Love and Michael Cook. It's bound to be a belter so all carnival groove hounds who can't get enough need to get down to get down.

The night runs from 9pm to 4am. Tickets are available now from www.ticketweb.co.ukor 08700 600 100, priced at £8. More information is available at www.sanchopanza.org.
