THE BEST CLUBS IN USA IN 2015

Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft

This year’s Top 100 Clubs poll results demonstrated an continuation of Las Vegas’ domination of the global dance music scene.

There are 18 American clubs in the final ranking but a staggering seven of these are located in Sin City. Were it not for the impressive ranking of Echostage, the top five US clubs would all have been located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Yet despite this clear dominance, there is plenty of good news for American clubbers. The two premier LA venues, Exchange and Avalon placed highly and New York and Miami are also well represented with entries from Output NY and Mansion respectively. You can read profiles on all of these clubs here.

But first, get to know the top four American clubs, as voted for by you...

HAKKASAN
Last year Hakkasan Las Vegas catapulted its way into the Top 100 Clubs chart at number 10, making an extraordinary highest new entry debut. This year the five-level culinary and nightlife mecca tells nightclubs across the globe to put their music (and money) where their mouth is as they slide into third. Touted by millennials as “the most buzzed-about music venue” on social media, Hakkasan attracts both celeb and EDM glitterati and is the venue of choice for Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Afrojack and Hardwell, who held his celebratory event at the extravagant haunt after being crowned No.1 DJ.

ECHOSTAGE
The odds of catching President Obama pontifiating with, say, Eric Prydz about his 12-inch vinyl collection (we assume the President must have one) are highest at the nation's capital club, Echostage. Washington DC's behemoth venue has booked established heavyweight champs such as Carl Cox and Above & Beyond as well as fresh EDM jocks like Martin Garrix and Alesso in recent months. With a set-up fit for large stage productions, you're as likely to find Phoenix as you are to catch Kaskade on any given night. As for Obama, we don't fancy talking American politics. However, the people have spoken, Echostage gets our vote.

LIFE
The new SBE hotel is Las Vegas is home of standout megaclub LiFE — complete with 60-foot ceilings and a tiered-floor layout reminiscent of the old Sahara Theatre that once called this room home. Despite being further down the Strip than many of the other Vegas venues, the club attracts big crowds to its wide, spacious room thanks to top-notch DJs including R3hab, Erick Morillo, Fedde LeGrand, Guy Gerber, Pete Tong and Borgore. The place is also home to Steve Angello’s two-year-long “transformational” Reflections residency. When not taking in the former Swedish House Mafia’s “hypnotic journey” of sound and light, take a breather at Beach Life, the adjacent rooftop pool deck.

DRAIS
Nestled atop Sin City’s Cromwell hotel, this massive rooftop day-club-slash-nightclub overlooks the Las Vegas Strip from some 11 storeys up. Drai’s is the brainchild (and namesake) of Weekend at Bernie’s film producer-turned-hospitality veteran Victor Drai, and holds claim as the Strip’s only two-level rooftop pool deck. By day, bikini-clad ladies splash in its waters to the sounds of resident DJs Savi, Helena, Warren Peace and Sidney Samson. By night, inside Drai’s 35,000 square foot, pool-adjacent venue, Dyro, 3lau, Politik, Adventure Club, Borgeous and more hold court.
