Out on Steve Lawler's VIVa Music

Regular selectors at respected Italian nightclub Tenax, Alex Neri and Federico Grazzini know their techno. Aside from spinning in Tenax's booth most weekends, Neri (pictured) also mastheads the club's reputable imprint, Tenax Records, who have hosted cuts from Italian scene staples and Florentine locals alike.

The pair have now teamed up for a new EP called 'Desert Rose', that's set from release on Steve Lawler's VIVa Music on 25th May. UK producer and former Back 2 Basics resident Burnski has also jumped on board, as well as additional reworks from both Neri and Grazzini.

"We recorded so much material that we decided to give more than one interpretation of the track. Moving in between house and techno, maintaining a strong old school attitude, each version shows a different point of view without missing the soul of the track,” said Grazzini.

DJ Mag has nabbed an exclusive premiere of 'Desert Rose' (Alex Neri Dub) out 25th May (Digital) on VIVa Music. Stream below or via the DJ Mag soundcloud.
