Back for its eighth year, annual electronic music industry summit, IMS, returns to the White Isle for three days of discussions, debates and of course, music.
With key industry figureheads talking and moderating this May 20-22, IMS 2015 is a must-attend platform for the electronic music industry’s many voices to be heard, set against the serene backdrop of Ibiza’s stunning sunsets and cobbled beauty of Dalt Vila and this year’s line-up of star performers.
Last year’s IMS Legends Award recipient, Nile Rodgers will pass the torch to Sven Väth and his Cocoon team, who will be hosted as guests of honor at 2015’s IMS Legends Dinner, set to take place at the beautiful Ama Lur restaurant.
New for this year’s event, IMS will debut its Back2Live concept, highlighting the growing demand for live dance music rumbling through the industry. Showcasing live performances from some of the scene’s best acts on the Hard Rock Hotel’s pool stage, Wednesday evening, the event will also see cohesion between heavyweight dance music brands and Gibson Guitars. Beyond IMS, night crawlers can be kept satiated with an assortment of after-hours events. Respected DJ Black Coffee will be hosting a delegate only showcase event at Ushuaïa’s After Dark venue with support from Andy Baxter. And Becky Tong brings Juicebox to the island in the same venue on Thursday evening.
