A unique and innovative concept, The BT Digital Music Awards is designed to celebrate artists who've harnessed the latest technology in refreshing and forward-thinking ways.

Utilising WAP sites, podcasts, fansites and blogs, the most tech-savvy acts are finding new methods to promote their music and get it out there. The BT Digital Music Awards set out to celebrate the very best artists in this arena in recognition of how the digital revolution is continuing to transform the way we listen to and access music.

Some of the hottest dance acts are up for nominations this year, with futuristic grimester Wiley, nu-ravers The Klaxons, dance music heroes The Chemical Brothers, toast of the town Calvin Harris, breakbeat dons Stanton Warriors and downbeat maestros Cinematic Orchestra all nominated for awards.
