WE ASK: "WHAT'S THE BEST THING YOU'VE FOUND AT A FESTIVAL?"

Davide Squillace, The Black Madonna & more!

A staple in London’s festival calendar, Found Festival is set to return this Saturday for a third time. They’ve shifted to Brixton’s Brockwell Park this year, the festival was previously hosted in East London’s Haggerston Park, and features an epic line-up of quality house and techno — think Guy Gerber, Anja Schneider, Motor City Drum Ensemble, George FitzGerald, The Black Madonna and so much more! If you can’t make it in the day, East Londoners can jam out at Village Underground in Shoreditch for the official Found afters, where Alan Fitzpatrick and Ellen Allien will both spin plus some very special guests.

In the wake of what’s set to be yet another superb run for the London fest, we caught up with some of the acts to ask: “what’s the best thing you’ve found at a festival?”

Randall M
“New friends.”

Cherrystones
"I guess the weirdest thing was an illegal tattoo and cupcake parlour ran by naked dwarves in a portaloo at a festival."

Debonair
"I went to All Tomorrow's Parties festival curated by My Bloody Valentine in 2009, and found a brilliantly surreal movie on ATP TV, filmed completely in US parking lots. I've spent the subsequent years trying to find it again."

Davide Squillace
“Free drugs and buggy rides!”

Bell Towers
“I've never found anything at a festival but I've lost plenty — wallet, phone, friends, socks, keys, drink cards... the list goes on.”

The Black Madonna
“I found a bowl of Twizzlers that were drenched in liquid LSD in the 90s.”

Found Presents: Found Festival is on this Saturday 13th June at Brockwell Park in Brixton. Tickets and line-up details here. Watch Found Festival's aftermovie below.
