The MDM-410 (£219, info at vestax.com) fills the void left by the ever-popular PMC-250 and is expected to be in shops by October.
With a substantial amount of inputs (13, to be precise), it also boasts a USB connection on the top panel, which provides audio in and out for recording and playback from computers.
Also included is a nice three-band EQ section on every channel, plus an extra four-band EQ on the master output. One feature we couldn't have predicted is the bank of six pre-set sound effects. We're wondering if Vestax updated the classic gunshot sample with the sound of a 9mm?
