Premiere: Patrick Gibin AKA TwICE ‘Searching’

UK born, Verona-based DJ/producer Patrick Gibin AKA TwICE serves up an irresistible edit of Corky McClerkin’s disco classic ‘Searchin For The Soul’ on Brooklyn’s mighty Razor n Tape label...

Patrick Gibin AKA TwICE has earned quite the reputation over the past number of years through his impeccable edits, most notably his stellar Black Aroma re-edits series.

Now, the Verona-based selector and editor makes his Razor n Tape debut with a new three-track edits EP. A triptych of summertime disco sizzlers, the A-side ‘Sunrise’ is a classic, swervy synth and flute lead gem. On the flipside then, ‘Searching – premiering below – is a respectful, energised re-edit of Corky McClerkin’s 1983 disco classic, ‘Searchin For The Soul’.

‘Take Flight’ closes the EP from the resident DJ and artistic director of ROOTS Corte Radisi with an uplifting flourish.
