House and disco legend Louie Vega delivers a divine rework of Sylvester’s ‘Dance (Disco Heat)’
Neither Louie Vega nor Sylvester should require any introduction. Both legends in their own right, the artists’ contributions to global disco and house are literally everywhere to be found in the dance music world today. Just a few weeks ago, we premiered a remix of Honey Dijon’s stunning Sylvester edit.
Now, we showcase another rework from the legendary ‘Queen of Disco’’s oeuvre. Featured on the new Future Disco comp ‘A Disco Fantasy’ set for release this Friday 27th April, Louie Vega’s edit of ‘Dance (Disco Heat)’ is a terrific, stomping disco masterstroke to smiles on faces and to get limbs flying.
With other artists featured on the comp including Kraak & Smaak, Amp Fiddler, COEO, Young Marco, CCFX and more, it’s a stellar collection that is “inspired by the unparalleled flamboyant expressionism that the original Disco era captured so perfectly”.
