THE LONDON UNDERGROUND SET TO RUN 24 HOURS ON WEEKENDS

Transport for London has unveiled its plan to offer a 24-hour underground service on Fridays and Saturdays. 

The new timetable will kick off every weekend from 12th September with trains running on average every 10 minutes on the Jubilee, Victoria, Northern and Piccadilly lines. 

TFL also plans to extend night time service to sections of the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City and District lines, with the London Overground and DLR included by 2017.
