Dutch production/DJ duo Fouk know their way around a house workout. Fusing nu-disco, jazzy deep house and smatterings of hip hop across their catalog in the past few years on labels like Heist, House of Disco and Razor N Tape, the pair have proved that point time and time again while leaving stupid grins on everybody’s faces.
Now, they have announced their new EP on their ow Outplay Records. Having previously put out releases by the likes of Junktion and Loz Goddard, they will be releasing the three-track jaunt ‘Mating Call’ on 12th June.
The title track – premiering below – sets the tone of percussive, party vibes that permeate the EP. The cut is a moody festival-ready jam with rumbling drums, unshakeable groove and a playful alien synth. Check it out below.
