For the fifth EP to land on Cassy’s collaboration fueled Kwench Records, the revered DJ/producer brought Philadelphia club stalwart Pete Moss to the studio for their second outing as a duo.
Having worked together on the label’s fourth release ‘You Gotta Know’, it was immediately clear that Cassy and Moss made for a strong team and on their new EP ‘You Gotta Know PT2’ which features two brand new – and absolutely divine – original cuts and two stellar remixes by UK-born, Berlin-based house luminary Marquis Hawkes.
‘I Want To (Marquis Hawkes Remix)’ – premiering below – takes the deep groove of the original and adds a rattling, hi-hat laden flair to proceedings. It’s glorious.
“Marquis is a house music producer in all its variations,” Cassy says of the remix. “I first listened and connected to him on Chicago labels or labels dedicated to Chicago house. It is very extraordinary how he can be so good at making so many different types of house tracks and smash it. So happy he will show another side of house music on Kwench.”

As for Cassy, the peerless DJ has some all-night sets lined up in the coming months with one in room three of Fabric, London on 30th June and two in Pacha's room 2 on 1st August and 5th September.
