The techno rave in an ancient Mediterranean castle has locked more artists

Larry Heard, Hunee, Floating Points and more for Spanish castle party...

Larry Heard, Hunee, Floating Points and DJ Seinfeld are among the new acts announced for the Into the Valley festival, which takes place in a 1,000-year-old castle on Spain’s Andalusian coast this September.

They join previously announced artists including Peggy Gou, Amelie Lens, Omar-S, Acid Pauli and Young Marco at the festival, scheduled for 28th to 30th September in the Castle of Sohail in Fuengirola.

Sohail will be the venue for the festival’s day-time programme, which will take place on three stages: The Castle, The Theater and The Beach.

The night-time programme will be in an as-yet-unnamed industrial setting according to organisers, with details to be announced soon. Details of an after-hours party on Sunday 30th September will also be confirmed shortly.

Organisers said that the first-release tickets for the festival have sold out with second-release tickets available now.

The Into the Valley festival started in Rättvik, Sweden in 2015. For its 2017 edition, the festival moved to Rummu in Estonia, a limestone quarry that also houses an abandoned prison.

Organisers say the festival “is based on the vision to further develop the format known as boutique festival and to invigorate the electronic music scene worldwide”.

In April, Larry Heard released ‘Cerebral Hemispheres’, the first album under his Mr. Fingers alias in nearly 25 years.
